Summer Program

Join us for the summer  (June 19th – August 19th) at 47 N. Haddon Avenue in Haddonfield. The camp provides a nurturing, co-educational environment for ages 2.5 to 5th Grade.

Registration

  • Save $65.00... Early registration has been extended to April 8th, 2017 for this year.
  • $250 is due at the time of registration, the entire balance is due by June 8.

Summer Camp Hours

  • 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Extended Day

  • Mornings 8:00 am - 9:00 am
  • Afternoons 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

The Extended day program is staffed by experienced educators and assistants; it offers children activities, snacks and a time to relax after a busy day. Children have the opportunity to interact with younger and older friends. Please note: late fees apply for campers picked up after 5:30 pm.

Mission

Haddonfield Friends Summer Program provides a nurturing, fun-filled environment that encourages individual growth, respects individual differences and fosters the development of moral and ethical values; it provides as well the security children need to value themselves and others.

Instructors

All educational and recreational activities are supervised by trained, experienced educators and are available to children ages/grades 2.5y/o to 5th grade.

Activities

Summer Camp sessions are theme-based weeks; chock full of building, creating, painting, thinking, daydreaming, water play, kickball games, board games and just plain old-fashioned summer fun!

Campers arrive running, happy and ready to go on trips whether walking, by bus or on the Patco Speedline Train. Some of the trips include a hay ride at Johnson's Farm, The Ritz Theater, Independence Seaport Museum and The Franklin Institute. Each week campers in second grade and older go to the pool on Tuesday.  Other trips include Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, Camden's Adventure Aquarium,  the Haddonfield Fire and Haddonfield Police stations and a short walk to Hopkins Pond for a nature hike and picnic.

Age Groups

Children are grouped according to age but have opportunities throughout their camp experience to interact with older and younger friends.

Discounts

Early Bird discount for registration by March 20, 2017.

Family discount of 2.5% if registered for 2 or more weeks each for 2 or more children.

Please note*** Full payment must be received by June 8.

Each day:

  • Campers should wear sneakers and comfortable clothing
  • Campers need to bring a snack and a lunch, refrigeration is provided
  • Camper's name should be clearly marked on all belongings
  • Campers need a towel, sunscreen, and bug spray
